On July 1, 2022, Sweden will receive a new revised Employment Protection Act (the so-called “LAS”). At the same time, the collective agreement on LAS and restructuring (so-called “Main Agreement”) entered into between the employer organization, Confederation of Swedish Enterprise on one side, and the employee organizations, PTK, IF Metall and Kommunal on the other side, enters into force. The revised Employment Protection Act, as well as the “Main Agreement” is proposed to take effect as of October 1, 2022.
During this course we will guide you through the coming changes in the LAS as well as the basic content of the Main Agreement.
