To set a standard for the industry, Competence Agencies of Sweden has created authorizations for staffing, outplacement and recruitment related services. Authorization is voluntary since 2019.\u00a0The authorization ensures legitimate businesses that meet high standards of professionalism. We carry out thorough checks in order to make the competence industry in Sweden safe and sound.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assessment for authorization is made by the authorization board headed by an impartial chairperson.
In order to become an authorized member of the Swedish Staffing Agencies companies have to meet the following conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A minimum of twelve months of industry related operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Compliance with the federation\u2019s bylaws (in Swedish).<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Current business is conducted through a Swedish legal person.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Submission of the most recent annual report, audit report and submission of documentation evidencing no owing of back taxes or duties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Bound by collective agreement of the sector in which the company is operating (*).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Application of delivery terms at least on par with the\u00a0federation\u2019s general terms and provisions (terms of delivery)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Coverage by the federation\u2019s liability insurance or the equivalent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Compliance with the federation\u2019s code of conduct<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Assurance that all subcontractors are registered for VAT, pay taxes and duties, and are covered by subcontractor insurance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Completion of the federation\u2019s\u00a0special authorization programme<\/a>\u00a0by at least one person holding a managerial position within the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Exposure of the federation\u2019s authorization logo\/logos in all job advertisements and marketing activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. For a renewed authorization, members are committed to submit ground for the authorization board’s annual assessment. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Special terms regarding companies within a corporate group<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    13. Authorization requires that group companies with similar names are bound by collective agreements for the contract area within which the company operates. This applies to companies for which connection to the federation\u00a0 can be made in the Competence Agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    14. An authorized company may not conduct the majority of its staffing through another company within a corporate group that is an unauthorized industry member. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    *) Exemption from this condition can be granted when there is no collective agreement in the sector in which the company is operating.<\/p>\n\n\n
